Start with the simple stuff: who you are and how we should reach you.

Write it like you would explain it to a customer or friend. Rough notes are perfect.

This helps us decide what the website should emphasize instead of just making it look pretty and hoping for the best.

Describe the type of person or business you most want to reach.

What should the website help people do?

List the most important ones first. A rough list is all we need.

Examples: experience, response time, local service, price, specialty, warranty, personality, quality.

Pages and content

Choose what sounds useful. You are not locked into these choices.

Which pages do you think you need?

Share the story, how long you have been in business, who is involved, credentials, values, or what made you start. Do not worry about wording.

A service, message, disclaimer, certification, special offer, phone number, or anything else.

Step 4

Contact details and public information

Tell us what visitors should see and how they should reach you.

What contact options should appear on the website?
Should your address be listed?

Include days, hours, appointment-only notes, or 24/7 availability.

What should a contact form ask visitors for?

Look and feel

No design degree required. Pick the choices that feel closest.

What colors or color families do you like?
Which styles sound closest to what you want?

Paste links and tell us what you like about them: colors, layout, photos, simplicity, wording, or anything else.

Examples: too much animation, dark backgrounds, stock-photo look, clutter, certain competitor styles.

Logo, photos, and special features

It is okay if you do not have these ready yet.
