Privacy Policy: HRPA MIPS Helper

HRPA MIPS Helper is a Chrome extension that assists radiologists with CMS MIPS documentation inside the Synthesis PACS (synthos.health). It operates locally in the browser and only acts when the user clicks a button in its side panel.
What Data We Collect
The extension does not collect, store, or transmit personal information to its developer. The only value saved by the extension is a local flag indicating that the access password has been entered on that browser.
How We Use Your Data
When the user clicks Generate, the text of the open radiology report and the selected MIPS measure requirements are sent over an encrypted HTTPS connection to the AI provider configured by the user’s organization (OpenAI or Google Gemini). The provider’s response is displayed in the side panel and is only added to the report when the user clicks Append to report. Report text is not retained by the extension after the request completes.
Data Sharing
No data is shared with the extension’s developer or with any third party other than the AI provider required to perform the extension’s core function. Organizations are responsible for ensuring an appropriate agreement (such as a Business Associate Agreement) is in place with that provider before using the extension with protected health information.
